 Visiting Professor of University of Science and Technology of China, China University of Petroleum, Chang’an University, Xi’an Shiyou University and etc;

 Teaching courses: Oil & Gas Exploration and Oil & Gas Basin Geology for undergraduates, Sedimentary Basin Analysis and Sedimentary Basin Dynamics for graduates;
 Students under his guidance: more than 100 master and doctor graduate students, 4 post-doctoral graduating and getting their degrees.

 PUBLICATIONS:
 6 monographs, 2 translations, 1 textbook, 66 papers as the first author, 12 Science and Technology Progress Awards from Shaanxi Province, Ministry of Education and Nation.

 DIRECT PROJECTS:
 Over 40 projects: National “Sixth Five-year Project” to “Eleventh Five-year Project” major and key projects, 973 Project, National Youth Science Foundation Project, the National Nature Science Foundation Project, international cooperation projects and major and key projects from provinces and ministries, Sinopec Group, China National Petroleum Corporation and China National Offshore Oil Corporation;
 Organized 5 national academic conferences, 3 Tibetan Plateau scientific expeditions.

 INNOVATION ACHIEVEMENT:
 Dynamics and reservoiring (mineralization) systems of sedimentary basins;
 Post-reconstruction and restoration of original basins;
 Research on transformed basins and oil and gas exploration, evaluation, methods;
 Mechanism of reservoiring(mineralization) and distribution regularity of oil and gas;
 Mechanism of accumulation and reservoiring(mineralization) about different mineral resources: organic and inorganic, energy and non-energy, mental and nonmetal co-exist in sedimentary basins;
 Oil and gas developing trends of the world’s major oil producer and energy replacement.
