- 结晶学以晶体为研究对象,主要研究晶体的对称规律。它是在普通地质学、数学、化学和物理学的基础上进行教学的。本课程主要内容包括晶体的基本性质及其所导出的若干规律;晶体生长和晶面发育的理论;晶体对称规律的认识和晶体的对称分类以及晶体化学的基本理论。通过本课程的教学,使学生较系统掌握结晶学的基础理论、基本知识和基本技能,学会从晶体的宏观形态分析晶体的对称及晶体定向、单形名称及符号,能用所学理论知识解释矿物学有关现象,并为矿物学、晶体光学、岩石学、矿床学、地球化学等后续课程打下坚实的理论基础。
- Course Description
- Crystallography takes crystals as research object, mainly study the symmetry rules in crystallography based on General Geology, Advanced Math, Chemistry and Physics. The main contents of this course are consisted as follows: crystal basic properties, theories of crystal growth, cognition of symmetry rules, crystal symmetry classification and introduction to crystal chemistry. The teaching of this course aims at making students systematically master basic theory, knowledge, and skill to analysis crystal orientation, designation and symbol of simple form, also to explain related phenomena of mineralogy. It will lay the foundation for studying the following course such as Mineralogy, Crystal Optics, Petrology, Ore Mineralogy, and Chemical Geology.

- 矿物学是地质学专业的重要专业基础课。以矿物为研究对象,主要包括矿物的晶体化学分类;矿物的主要结构类型;各大类和各类矿物的晶体化学与形态物性通性。通过本课程的教学,使学生掌握矿物成分、结构、形态、物性、成因的基础知识及其它们之间的相互联系,掌握50余种常见矿物的鉴定特征并掌握鉴定未知矿物的技能。初步掌握矿物学的研究方法;认识矿物的成因及其标型组合;初步认识矿物的主要用途。通过矿物学专题讨论,了解矿物学的最新进展。使学生建立研究地球物质成分和开发与利用矿产资源的基本思路。并为学习晶体光学、岩石学、矿床学、地球化学等后续课程打下坚实的理论基础。
- Course Description
- Mineralogy is an important basic course for Geology majors. The course take minerals as research object mainly consist of crystallochemical classification, general structure type, forms and physical property of various kinds of minerals. The teaching of this course aims at making students to master basic theory of mineral composition, structure, shape, physical property, genesis and their relationships, also know well the identification characteristics of more than 50 kinds of common minerals to recognize the unknown mineral in the future, and have a preliminary knowledge of mineral research method and main application. It also aims to cultivate their ability in exploring the components of the Earth as well as developing and utilizing mineral resources. The course will lay the foundation for studying the following course such as Mineralogy, Crystal Optics, Petrology, Ore Mineralogy, and Chemical Geology.

- 结晶学与矿物学课程分为结晶学与矿物学两部分。结晶学主要介绍晶体的空间格子规律、基本性质、生长理论、投影、对称、结晶学符号、理想形态、内部结构及晶体化学的基本概念和基础知识。矿物学在介绍矿物的化学组成、形态、物理性质、形成与变化、研究方法以及矿物的分类和命名的基础上,重点介绍各大类、类、族、种等不同分类级别矿物的基本知识,常见矿物肉眼鉴定的基本技能,以及特征矿物或特征矿物共生组合对揭示岩石或矿床成因及其形成条件(如温度、压力、组分浓度、介质性质等)的指示意义。该课程不仅要培养学生掌握系统的结晶学与矿物学知识,而且要能使学生建立研究地球物质成分和开发与利用矿产资源的基本思路。
- Course Description
- This course consists of two parts, crystallography and mineralogy. The crystallography mainly focus on basic concept and knowledge of the space lattice law, basic properties, growth theory, projection, symmetry, crystallography symbols, form, internal structure and crystal chemistry of crystal. Based on the introduction of the mineral crystal chemical composition, morphology, physical properties, formation and changes, investigation methods, classification and nomenclature, mineralogy focused more on the basic knowledge of different classification level of major class, class, group and kind, the basic skill of visual identification of common minerals and the especial meaning of diagnostic minerals or mineral association on discussing the genesis and formation condition (such as temperature, pressure, component concentration, medium character) of rocks or deposits. This course aims to foster student’s systematic knowledge of crystallography and mineralogy, but also to cultivate the ability of investigating the component of the Earth and developing and utilizing of mineral resources.
